Did you know that for every call to ambulances and police received uncertainty in road conditions adds about 4 minutes delay to the actual arrival of help?

Needless to say, that 4 minutes can be a matter of life and death.

You may be tempted to ask why they do not use google Map? The answer is simple, because it does not work for this case.

It turns out that a social based system that detects the presence of traffic is not predictive of bad road conditions, trains and the actual status of traffic lights.

We need something better, something more complex that actually is measuring all of the road conditions and whether or not a street is obstructed.

In a recent interview on Conversation in Artificial Intelligence we discussed this problem with Kurth Brandt explains how a revolutionary A.I. and IOT technology will allow first responders to get to the scene quicker.

The technology is basically A.I. at steroids with a side dish of Internet of Things.

The technology features artificial intelligence at three levels, within the IOT sensors, To coordinate IOT sensors and finally to discover the optimal path to the emergency scene.

This and much More is going to appear on an interview on Conversations in Artificial Intelligence, watch a preview now and subscribe on conversations in artificial intelligence with Paolo Messina:
